Naturopathy

Naturopathic medicine  is an  eclectic system of health care that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of natural non-pharmaceutical medicines. Naturopathic professionals (NDs) blend centuries-old traditional medical knowledge  with current research on health and human biological systems.

Naturopathic diagnoses focuses on identifying the underlying causes of disease, recognising that most diseases have an inherent cause and are not random occurrences. The diagnostic techniques at this centre are diverse and focus on functional medicine techniques utilising multiple point of care tests and or off site pathology services where necessary.  The Naturopathic therapeutics at this practise are supported by knowledge drawn from peer-reviewed journals from many disciplines, including conventional medicine, European biological medicine, clinical nutrition, phytotherapy, pharmacognosy, the natural sciences & environmental medicine.

The therapeutic disciplines of naturopathy include clinical nutrition, dietetics, botanical medicine, homoeopathy and integrate conventional, scientific and empirical methodology with the laws of nature.
